It’s amazing what using DSP and the hexagon punch can produce! The cards I’m featuring today, use the hexagon punch and the Sunny Days and Most Adored DSP plus the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set to create some very simple yet stunning cards.
The premise is the same on both cards. I just punched five hexagons from the DSP and arranged them through the center of the card. The Valentine’s card was just vertical placement and the other card was horizontal placement. There’s so much you can do with this basic concept.
I love that the Heartfelt Hellos in the Sale-a-bration catalog coordinate with the Heartfelt Hexagon bundle in the new mini catalog. I think the border stamps just finish off these cards.
For the Valentine’s card. I do have a tip for you. To save a little bit of ribbon, do what I call a faker bow. Just attach the ends of a ribbon underneath where your sentiment is going to go with dimensionals. Then you can put your sentiment on top and use a small piece of ribbon to tie off a little bow.
