Sponging is an easy technique that gives a great look.  In this card, I used the stamp set To You & Yours Too.  I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.  If you’d like to recreate, here are the directions.

1.  To create this card, you’ll want to make a CS and Xerox paper mask  by using the 2″ circle punch.
2. Begin by using Marina Mist to sponge the center ornament.
3. Next use a Xerox paper mask to stamp the image through using night of navy. (I found the image doesn’t come through clearly if you use the CS mask.
4. Going back to the CS mask, use Soft Sky to sponge and then stamp the stars on the other ornaments.
5. Finish by stamping the hangers and saying in Night of Navy.
