Today’s tip is nothing new, just something I, myself, tend to overlook.  It’s all about getting the most from your Designer Series Paper.  The new Patio Party paper is a perfect example of what you can do with DSP.

Patio Party DSP #126916

Always look for ways to use punches with paper to get a new look.  In this first example, I used the 1-3/4″ punch to cut out the large circles to make  a fun background.

Colors:  Primrose Petals, Baja Breeze
Stamp Set:  Layered Labels #127072
Accessories:  Apothecary Accents Framelits, Baja Breeze Seam Binding, Pearl Basic Jewels

On this next example, I used a strip from the DSP to make an accent for the card.

Colors:  Night of Navy, Summer Starfruit, White
Stamp Sets:  Mixed Bunch, #125537, Itty Bitty Banners, #126257
Accessories:  Bitty Banners Framelits, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Blossom Punch, 3/4″ Punch

Finally, if you don’t have a particular stamp, look for a way to use a cute image from your DSP.  In this case, I used the cake.  All it took was a pair of scissors!

Colors:  Baja Breeze, White
Stamp Set:  Itty Bitty Banners, #126257
Accessories:  Bitty Banners Framelits, Designer Frames Folder (Oval), Extra-Large oval Punch

And there you have it.  Do you have some examples you’d like to share?  I’d love to hear about it if you do!
