These new letterpress plates hold a lot of possibilities. Used with the big shot and craft ink, they are really simple to use once you know a few secrets.
Secret #1: I prefer to use the premium crease pad as my top layer on the Big Shot sandwich rather than the cutting mat as stated on the directions, it give a deeper impression.
Secret #2: Always use a removable adhesive to adhere the cardstock to the premium crease pad so that it doesn’t move when making the impression.
Dies: Trick or Treat Letterpress plate #120980 (mini catalog, p. 42) Square lattice Embossing Folder #119976 (p. 214)
- For this card, I chose to use versamark ink and emboss with silver.
- The black cardstock was embossed with the square lattice embossing folder and then the bats were punched out with the Bitty Bat punch.
