This was a fun card to do and it’s neat to see people’s expression when they open it. They’re not expecting a pop-up surprise inside.

And now for the inside…
Stamp Set: Grateful Greetings, Broadsheet Alphabet
Big Shot Dies: Clear Circle, Spider Web Embossing Folder
1. Emboss the spider web on the black CS using the Big Shot and the embossing folder. NOTE: The spider web does not cover the left 1 ¾” of the CS.
2. Adhere the designer paper to the black CS.
3. To create the spider, punch the head using the ¾” circle punch and the body using the 1 ¼” circle punch. The legs are created by punching the ¾” square and then moving it up slightly and punching. I did snip off the ends of the legs at an angle.
4. Add the embroidery floss using a glue dot.
5. Mount the spider using dimensional.
6. Add a “faker knot using the striped ribbon.
7. Layer on the olive CS and then on the card front.
8. To create the pop-up effect, you will need 3 of the clear circle die circles. These have already been punched for you.
9. Fold each circle in half, then slit at 1 ¾” and 2 1/8” . The slit should be ½” each.
10. Punch the pop-up circles using the 1 ¾” circle punch and cut off bottom portion.
11. Stamp the letters and sponge the edges.
12. Adhere to the pop-up circles.
13. Attach circles together and to the card using sticky strip.
