New Scallop Border Punch

Here it is…the best punch of all…ok, one of the best, but we have so many! This one, however, creates a scallop border….finally!

To create a scallop, all you do is insert the cardstock into the punch and punch.

Next, you move the cardstock over so that the scallop you just created lines up with the scallop imprinted on the punch. Then, just punch again and repeat until you have the length you desire.

Here’s a sample I created using the new Wow Flowers Set. Cardstock colors are from our new In Color Line; tangerine tango, kiwi kiss, and Pacific Point. In addition, I used the scallop circle punch, and the 1 inch and 1 1/4 inch circle punch. The thank you is embossed in white.

You can also use the scallop border punch to create a ric-rac border.

To do this, I started with a 1 inch strip of cardstock. Punch the scallop as before on one side. Turn it around, but when placing this side into the punch, line up the original scallop so that the center of it is on a line.

Now when punching, you’ll get a ric-rac border.

Here’s a card I created with the ric-rac border. It uses all the colors and stamp sets listed above plus the set Celebrate Everything. In addition, I’ve used the word window punch.
