Anniversary/Wedding Card
Stamp set: I Heart Hearts
Punches: Scallop Trim Border and Scallop Trim Corner, Extra large 2-Step Bird
Creating a Perfect Bordered Insert:
- Holding your corner punch upside down so you can see what you’re doing from the bottom, slip each corner of the square right to the corner of the cutting edge (the “v” shape). Be careful not to go all the way into the punch, just feed it to the corners are lined up with the punch.
- Punch all 4 corners 1st.
- To punch the sides, line up just one corner. Punch first one side and then slide your cardstock over and line up the opposite corner and punch the other side. As long as you line up your corners, you should come out fine each time.
- Stamp the saying using Orchid Opulence.
Creating the pocket card:
- Fold the card in half and then fold the top of the front of the card down approximately 1 3/8” from the top.
- Using the border punch, edge the flap.
- Punch the corners on the Old Olive CS and then run through the Big Shot using the Finial Press Embossing Folder. The sandwich for this is:
